We have some rooms opened in the main house, please pass the word around that we are conducting interviews for our tranisitional housing program.

Interviews will be held; Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11am to 1pm. Please come to the house 1417 S. G Street, during those times. And remember a person must come to three interviews before the community can make a decision.

Sorry it's been a while

I forgot about the ditigal world this past summer. It's hard to sit down in front of the computer when temperatures are reaching all time highs. At last, the rain has return to Tacoma and I am pleasently content with the sound, sight and smell or misty light beatuiful rain.

The house was nearly empty until this past weekend. The new JVs have arrived and there house is almost finish but in the mean time they will be spending the next few days with us. Pictures of the new addition will be up soon, hopefully.

We are still activly seeking live-in staff members. Please send us a e-mail if you are interested tacomacatholicworker@gmail.com.

My (newer) goal is to hopefully send update on a more regular weekly schedule about the house and happenings.

Peace to all,

April is fast approaching

April is almost here, although I wouldn't know with this weather. It's cold and rainy. But the house is full. The garden is becaming a place of growth. And things are looking hopefull. They at least feel hopefull.

And of course it's Tuesday, which mean our house is open tonight from 5pm to 7:30pm for litergy service. Tonight Peter Roderick will be giving the service. Doors open at 5pm with freshly made coffee and day old pastries from Starbucks. The room will be filled with people from all different walks of life. The service will begin at 5:30pm and afterwards we will have a free meal for everyone. If you can't come this Tuesday make it a plan to come one of these Tuesday (apparently they occure once a week). And meet some of the folks who choose to worship, eat, and be merry at Guadalupe House on Tuesday nights.
